McCann's Water Boosters control pressure fluctuations from incoming water systems and provide a consistent flow of water to beverage dispensing equipment. The 16-2172 is the standard 4.4-gallon configuration, specified for Coca-Cola fountain installations and supplied with backflow preventer, 2-piece probe, and ventable check valve included.

The stainless steel water tank features McCann's proprietary diaphragm design — made from NSF-certified food-grade butyl rubber — and is engineered to completely evacuate water from the tank when the incoming water supply is shut off. The manifold assembly includes a pressure gauge and Anderson Brass ASSE 1022-specified backflow prevention device.

A Schrader connection allows for easy tank pressure checking without tools, and the base is designed for floor, table, or wall-mount installation. Vibration-dampening feet on both the booster base and pump effectively control noise during operation.
